Hi,
I'll begin a serie of posts, called "A Word For" and the first one is for Sparky. What is that ? Answer is below.
Linux System
SparkyLinux is a Linux Operating System, based on Debian 12 (bookworm, stable version) and Debian Dev/13 (trixie, for the rolling release version).
Features
SparkyLinux include some interesting features :
- Same as Debian (APT, Deb Packages, All Base Packages from Deb12/13)
- APTus : The Software Center designed by Sparky Devs. It allow to install many softwares, including from outside of Debian repositories, like Google Chrome.
- Custom ISO Maker/Backup System :
- Allow to make custom ISO
- Allow to literally backup the current system
- Allow to copy your session settings and files to the SKEL directory (defining default user definition, useful for customs and mutualized environments)

Get the Stable Version

Type : Stable, no Rolling, Require Upgrade at EOL of Debian 12
Get the Rolling Version

At The End
Tyleo just began to donate a monthly 10€ to this project, cause it's really interesting orientation and methods. Based on Debian allowing flexibility and customization. Sparky might soon became the next base of ConceptMX, that will lose it's "MX" suffix for a new one, maybe...
